Although Black & Decker LSW120 claims to have the latest lithium packed and ready to go in its powerful sweeper, it is the same as the old Ni-cad version. It was not an improvement at all. Its disgusting compared to the battery I had several years ago and counting. It is lighter, yes. But it dies an instant death. I charged it overnight as specified and recommended by its distributor. I live in a townhouse and used it the following morning. An 8 minute working time then it stopped then started again. It boast of a 15 minute working time but it died halfway. I ordered an extra battery to clean my front step and walkway plus the deck. I have to switch batteries for a single cleaning. It’s really the same as the Ni-cad version when it was still new. It’s really disappointing.
